On Board With ASAP – Diana Hill

The board welcomes its newest member Ms. Diana Hill of Lawrenceburg. With her professional background in government as well as private industry and local charities, she brings a wealth of experience and is a great addition to our board.

Diana retired from state government after 27 years of service, worked for the President of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for two years and the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers for five years. Her non-profit involvement is equally impressive. She participated in Big Brothers/Big Sisters for 4 years, served CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for abused and neglected children as a volunteer for 4 years, and was a member of their board for 4 years. She is currently on CASA’s Ad Hoc committee.

My passion is horses and helping children see their worth, so ASAP seemed a very appropriate fit for me.  If there’s anything that I am able to do I am more than willing.  I worked with a program to help sexually abused and neglected children in a Healing Hearts with Horses program here in Anderson Co.  This was very rewarding seeing the difference the horses made in the life of these children.

We welcome Diana to ASAP and are looking forward to working with her in the future. ASAP has several projects in development designed to positively impact the families of Anderson County. We are grateful for passionate board members like Diana Hill.
